800 staff resign after company asks them to work from office

As the Covid state of affairs has improved, several companies have already referred to as their workers to workplace, ending the work at home (WFH).

However, it appears some workers need to work from home further. Lately, a whole bunch of employees have resigned when a company asked them to come to the office.

Over 800 WhiteHat Jr employees have resigned from the children on-line coding learning edtech start-up within the last two months after being requested to work from workplace.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, asked its staff to return to office within a month’s time, based on an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the company introduced the coverage to end make money working from home and requested distant staff to return to workplace by April 18.

The resignations got here from full-time staff of the gross sales, coding, and math groups. More staff are expected to place down their papers within the coming months.

One of the staff who resigned informed the web site that a month’s time was not sufficient for relocation. “Some have children, some have aged and sick parents, whereas others produce other duties.
