A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information release from the park.
The lady approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Previous Trustworthy geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison dwell on the park, they usually have injured more people than some other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor got here inside 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park stated.
The lady had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals had been also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
