He asks “Are you diabetic?”

“In no way,” Pesce says — to which the officer responds: “Most likely the mistaken reply.”

Pesce has been on restricted obligation till further notice pending investigation results as he faces costs for 5 site visitors offenses.

“There’s been several calls — and one other caller that saw you get out of the automobile and walk to the again," the officer replies.

Pesce disputes that he had been driving, saying “Nobody was driving.”

He was promoted to chief in 2018, after 20 years with Bordentown police, following the resignation of disgraced former Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera.
