DALLAS - A 15-year-old woman from North Richland Hills is now house after being abducted by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airways Heart. But the family still seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly sufficient regarding the crime, which had the girl as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.
“She was gone missing a complete of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that means (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for their negligence and different causes of action.''
Fortenberry stated the teen’s father knowledgeable police at the game when he realized she was missing. But, in line with the legal professional, the father was informed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.
Fortenberry claims NRH police said they weren’t capable of help as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional said it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to search out the missing lady, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the woman was discovered, the crew releasing the next assertion: “The American Airways Heart (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Both entities will proceed to cooperate with local and regional law enforcement on this case.''
