Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles within the automobile. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officials mentioned. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
