Man arrested in connection with “faculty shooter” signs found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses. 

An increased quantity of cops had been placed at colleges in the communities on account of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Department of Security said, however they decided there is no credible threat right now.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection department released a photo of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of prison threatening and three misdemeanor prices including false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged presently.
