One individual was killed and eight others had been injured Friday night time when photographs were fired at a large social gathering at a strip mall hookah lounge in the San Bernardino County group of Highland.
The shooting within the city east of San Bernardino was reported just before midnight within the 3600 block of East Highland Avenue. Officers encountered a large crowd of about 100 people in the space for a celebration at a hookah lounge.
A taking pictures sufferer located outside died at the scene. A girl on the scene who identified herself as the sufferer's grandmother said he is 20 years outdated.
Eight different people have been hospitalized with what look like non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The sheriff's department initially said 10 people had been shot, but later up to date that number to nine, together with the deceased sufferer.
