Russian spy airplane violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance aircraft briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish protection officials said on Saturday, as the Scandinavian nation ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish protection ministry mentioned in an announcement, adding that its teams had followed the incident and photographed it.
The ministry stated the airplane was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island in the Baltic, earlier than it headed toward Swedish territory.
“It is completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This motion is unprofessional and given the final safety state of affairs very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should always be respected.”
