Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of companies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mom noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty around 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world together with a number of other agencies in an try to seek out him.
The teenager was found close to the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old could possibly be dealing with a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no threat made to the college or anyone inside the school.
