Uvalde police, school district not cooperating with Texas probe of taking pictures: Sources

The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Impartial School District police force are now not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's evaluation of the regulation enforcement response, a number of legislation enforcement sources inform ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent Faculty District did not instantly reply to requests for comment from ABC News.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety stated, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police offered an initial interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."

Last Tuesday's attack, one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history, left 19 children and two adults lifeless.
