Teen arrested after mom observed son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of agencies responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center Faculty around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm along with a number of different companies in an try to seek out him.
The teenager was found close to the school’s campus and brought into custody.
