Die damaligen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die aufgrund der Webmaster selber vorhanden werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Gesamtübersicht via Content einer Seite, gewiss setzte sich bald hervor, dass die Inanspruchnahme er Ratschläge nicht verlässlich war, da die Wahl der gebrauchten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Erläuterung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Seiten bei einzigartigen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedenartige Merkmale in einem Zeitraum des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite besser in den Suchergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Search Engines sehr auf Gesichtspunkte angewiesen waren, die alleinig in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Schindluder und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Testergebnisse in den Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Operatoren der Suchmaschinen im Internet an diese Ereignisse integrieren. Weil der Riesenerfolg einer Suchseite davon abhängt, relevante Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungeeignete Ergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Anwender nach weiteren Möglichkeiten bei der Suche im Web umblicken. Die Lösung der Internet Suchmaschinen lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rang, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer lenkbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Google – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ.   7. Fantastic videos team. I’m in the process of building a Shopify store with a friend and I had a question that I hoped you could help answer. Would it be better from an SEO and ads perspective to have a product for each colour variant? We want to sell watch straps, we will only start with 14 products but each product has around 4 colours and several sizes. So I am wondering what you think would be a better strategy to start out with? One product and several variants in it, or one product per colour and size variants in each colour? Maybe I’m I’ve thinking it but when I go to Google I see one brand with multiple listings when they have multiple products for each colour and the others brands with one colour and multiple variants get less listings which makes me think a colour per listing could lead to more traffic and more sales.

I am obviously in the minority but to me this is far from a beginners guide, he mentions doing things with a kinda assumption you have any idea what he's talking about then just moves on to the next thing, where is the HOW for each of these points. An example being the Product Category. I am on Shopify and TBH I have no idea what he is talking about. There are Products, Titles, Collections none of this seems to translate the language he is speaking
