Household of Abducted Girl Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old girl from North Richland Hills is now home after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airways Middle. However the household nonetheless seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not performing swiftly enough regarding the crime, which had the girl as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone lacking a complete of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for their negligence and other causes of action.''

Fortenberry stated the teenager’s father informed police on the game when he realized she was missing. But, based on the legal professional, the daddy was instructed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police mentioned they weren’t in a position to assist because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The lawyer stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to seek out the missing woman, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police instructed WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was discovered, the staff releasing the following statement: “The American Airlines Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Both entities will continue to cooperate with native and regional regulation enforcement on this case.''
