BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "college shooter" were present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Department of Safety mentioned, but they decided there isn't a credible threat at the moment.
The New Hampshire Department of Safety is investigating indicators that learn 'college shooter!' which have been found in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SecurityOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security department released a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor costs together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
