Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald entstanden Betriebe, die sich auf die Aufbesserung professionellen. In den Anfängen erfolgte die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Übermittlung der URL der entsprechenden Seite in puncto diversen Search Engines. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Server der Recherche, wo ein zweites Software, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die späten Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster eigenständig vorgegeben werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht via Content einer Seite, jedoch setzte sich bald herab, dass die Einsatz der Details nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Präsentation des Seiteninhalts reflektieren kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei individuellen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu steuern, dass die Seite richtiger in den Resultaten gefunden wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Search Engines sehr auf Kriterien dependent waren, die nur in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Abusus und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Resultate in den Resultaten zu bekommen, musste ich sich die Anbieter der Suchmaschinen an diese Rahmenbedingungen angleichen. Weil der Triumph einer Suchseiten davon abhängig ist, besondere Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unangebrachte Testergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach weiteren Wege zur Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Internet Suchmaschinen fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Positionierung, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwierig beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entworfenen mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Yahoo – eine Suchseite, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Auch weitere Suchmaschinen im Netz bedeckt bei Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo search
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
