Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten rasch den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in den Serps und recht bald entstanden Firma, die sich auf die Optimierung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen passierte der Antritt oft bezüglich der Transfer der URL der passenden Seite in puncto divergenten Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Auswertung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Homepage auf den Web Server der Search Engine, wo ein weiteres Angebot, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu diversen Seiten). Die zeitigen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Informationen, die dank der Webmaster eigenständig vorgegeben sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick per Inhalt einer Seite, jedoch registrierte sich bald raus, dass die Anwendung er Vorschläge nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts reflektieren konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Webseiten bei besonderen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedenartige Fähigkeiten innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu interagieren, dass die Seite überlegen in den Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die späten Search Engines sehr auf Faktoren abhängig waren, die einzig in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr instabil für Straftat und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um überlegenere und relevantere Resultate in Resultaten zu erhalten, mussten sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen an diese Rahmenbedingungen angleichen. Weil der Triumph einer Suchseite davon anhängig ist, besondere Suchresultate zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten ungeeignete Resultate darin resultieren, dass sich die Benutzer nach diversen Möglichkeiten bei der Suche im Web umgucken. Die Erwiderung der Suchmaschinen im Internet inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Ranking, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Die Suchmaschine – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Webseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
