- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die anfänglichen Suchmaschinen im WWW an, das frühe Web zu katalogisieren. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten flott den Wert einer lieblings Listung in den Resultaten und recht bald entwickelten sich Organisation, die sich auf die Aufwertung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen geschah die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Transfer der URL der passenden Seite an die vielfältigen Search Engines. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Prüfung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Web Server der Suchseite, wo ein 2. Software, der so genannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die frühen Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die aufgrund der Webmaster selbst vorgegeben werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Search Engines wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Eindruck mit Inhalt einer Seite, jedoch registrierte sich bald hervor, dass die Inanspruchnahme er Vorschläge nicht verlässlich war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Präsentation des Seiteninhalts spiegeln hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei charakteristischen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Attribute in einem Zeitraum des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite richtiger in Ergebnissen aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Search Engines sehr auf Merkmalen dependent waren, die bloß in den Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Delikt und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um bessere und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in Resultaten zu bekommen, musste ich sich die Anbieter der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Gegebenheiten einstellen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Anlaufstelle davon anhängig ist, wesentliche Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungünstige Urteile dazu führen, dass sich die Anwender nach weiteren Möglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umblicken. Die Erwiderung der Suchmaschinen im WWW lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangfolge, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht ohne Rest durch zwei teilbar leicht lenkbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Yahoo – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Internetseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Auch weitere Search Engines orientiert während der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
